Introduction to Service Learning


Implementation object:

● University daytime students who are applicable to the syllabus starting from the 112th academic year [including first-year university students, transfer (department) students, repeat students, and returning students]: must complete "Service and Learning-Campus Practice" and "Service and Learning" before graduation and Learning-Sustainable Development" has a total of two 0-credit courses.

● University daytime students who are applicable to the syllabus before the 111 academic year (inclusive) [including first-year university students, transfer (department) students, repeat students, and return students]: must complete "Service and Learning (1)-Practice" before graduation There are four 0-credit courses in total, "Service and Learning (2) - Practical Course", "Service and Learning (1) - Lecture" and "Service and Learning (2) - Lecture".

*General Campus Environmental Services

◆Place of study: public area service on campus.
◆Class time: morning (AM 07:30~AM 08:00) school time.
◆Class schedule suspension time: at the same time as the actual service time.


*On-campus outreach services

◆Place of study: To serve in the administration/teaching unit of the school.
◆Course time: Arrange spare time with unit supervisors for service.
◆Timetable for hanging classes: freshmen adopt the whole class to hang up classes uniformly,and students above sophomores can hang up classes symbolically on Monday (M) time period.


*Off-campus multiple services

◆Place of study: The government's legal case-filing agencies, institutions, legal persons, etc. that have signed a cooperation agreement with our school.
◆Course time: Arrange spare time with the supervisory staff of the institution for service.
◆Timetable for hanging classes: freshmen adopt the whole class to hang up classes uniformly, and students above sophomores can hang up classes symbolically on Monday (M) time period.

The group list of time slots will be announced on the organization website on the first day of school for students to check and attend courses according to the announcement.

【Service and Learning - Practical Lessons】
◆Processing time: It will be handled in accordance with the crediting operation and schedule announced by the Office of Academic Affairs.
◆Credit eligibility
  ◇Service and Learning (1) - Practical Course If you have completed similar courses in other schools and passed the grades, and you have the original school transcripts, you can apply for credit.
  ◇Service and Learning (2) - Practical Course If you have completed similar courses in another school and passed the grades, you can apply for credit if you have a transcript from the original school.


【Service and Learning - Campus Practice】
◆Processing schedule: It will be handled in accordance with the crediting operation and schedule announced by the Office of Academic Affairs.
◆Eligibility for credit
  ◇Service and learning-campus practice If you have completed similar courses in other schools and passed the grades, and you have the original school transcripts, you can apply for credit.

In the "previous semester" of the "semester to retake", follow the latest news retake application announcement on the website of this group to handle the retake registration.

*Service and Learning (1) - Lectures
◆According to the Volunteer Service Law, 6 hours of basic education and training for voluntary service.
*Service and Learning (2) - Lectures
◆Provide 12 hours of volunteer service special education training in accordance with the Volunteer Service Law and the implementation points of the school's service learning.

Adding and withdrawing at the beginning of the school year can be added by yourself.

◆Processing schedule: It will be handled in accordance with the crediting operation and schedule announced by the Office of Academic Affairs.
◆Eligibility for credit
  ◇Service and Learning (1)-Teaching courses You must have a certificate of completion of volunteer basic education training for 6 hours or more before you can submit an application for credit.
  ◇Service and Learning (2) - Lectures Only those who hold a certificate of completion of volunteer special education training for 12 hours (inclusive) or more and give on-site lectures can submit an application for credit.
  ◇ Anyone who holds a volunteer service record book can be credited for service and learning (1) and (2) lectures.

At the beginning of the semester of "repeating the semester", you can choose courses by yourself according to the announcement of the Academic Affairs Office.

After the addition and withdrawal selection is over, withdrawal and suspension of maintenance are not allowed.
